UMass is set to open their season up with the Gophers next year. Should be quite interesting with Marcou and Wellman-less UMass and Lucia-less (maybe double) Minnesota. See you all at Marriucci in October!

I would be remiss if I were to say that I wasnt savoring the idea of no goofers in the tournament. My how the once mighty have fallen. Enjoy the golf boys, and try bring a respectable product to the ice next fall.
To the rest of the teams that are still alive, play hard and lets see some good hockey in the coming weeks.

What? You mean the gophers were once mighty? When was that? Seems like they're always a bubble team for NCAA, and usually in the play-in game at the Final 5. Too many prima donnas, apparently.
