Maybe we're looking at this wrong. The first day, that 1 was a digit. Another 2-1 win, would produce another one-goal differential. Because they'd be the same, the second could be a double for the first.

Al Davis had that "just win, baby" saying, but in the world of NCAA women's hockey and OT, tOSU just two-thirds won.

I suppose it depends on your definition of a "digit". "By the book" would be that 2 is still a single digit.

I guess you had a line on how the results would turn out. slOwSU repeated last night's 2-1 win but did not need OT to "just win, baby".

OSU could have attacked more on power play. Kept things to the outside so while they had shots not great chances. Also, not many 2-1 which happens a lot when you are in the opponents end the entire game.

Mercyhurst at UMD - #15 vs #9.
UConn at St. Cloud - UConn is #7

Usually I root for the wcha teams, but not in the 2 v 4, though I really dislike PSU now and I have an axe to grind against UMD, so go UConn.

Four voters in this week's poll shifted their #1 from Ohio State to Wisconsin.

That's interesting because PSU got handily outshot by their opponent, indicating the opponent's strength, though the scores indicated a closer set of games. Meanwhile, UW was missing their #2 & 4 D and starting goalie, and handled them pretty well, although St. L is predicted to be the 9th place EZAC team. Personally I don't see why UW should have gained that many votes. If anything, they should have lost a few due to the quality of the opponent.

BU at UW - a battle of attractive uniforms
UMD at Vermont - There's nothing like Vermont in the fall, the easterner's say anyway. Too early for the fall colors.
TWSNBN at St. Thomas - We'll see how PSU and St. Thomas match up.
UM at BSU - boom or BOOM!
St. Cloud at Kato - an early season fight to stay in the top 15
