Answer this....was it stupid of her to hire a guy who seemingly would not be able to attain the degree required to keep his job?

I can only speak on my perspective on why ... in any organization that's building and looking to compete with MN and WI who have been established for over a decade. tOSU needed to be creative and constantly adapt on the fly. If I have the opportunity to bring into my organization a former Captin in the NHL even for one year that's huge. Why wouldn't you? While I'm still actively looking for the right fit. Can some answer why you would not???

1 to ZIP ...is a fact that i still have trouble dealing with lol.

Some players like stability in thier lives.

I see some on this thread take cheap shots at Coach Muzerall about assistant coaches leaving... so some quick education for those posters. OSU has a rule that if you coach at tOSU you need to have a 4 year degree. Coach Muz hired former NHL players to coach and both did not have degrees so they could only be for 1 year. Coach Elander returned after he left to Europe. There are two coaches that coach Muz had to move on from. When your building a elite machine you must always be looking to improve. Thats what I love about our young coach ...Never be satisfied...always trying to get better. The coaching staff at tOSU I belive is the hardest working staff in the country.

My point exactly. No facts from anyone to support their frivolous statements. So, let's talk about ones writing. My children deploy the same tactic when they have nothing insightful to bring to the conversation. Sad.

I think it's also a negative for you/Muzzy going through all the effort of building a relationship with a coach, training them on how you/she wants things done and learning to being able to trust that they will say and do the right things at the right times. It's kind of like getting married and actually trying to make it work for 9 months knowing it's going to end and then you have to start all over again. And then there's the negative impact on building relationships with potential recruits.......

I do think it was brilliant to get Elander back, the guy is money. Maybe he will stick around for awhile this time.

I never claimed to have a substantive response to your posts, in part because it's not worth the effort of trying to figure out exactly what you're saying.
