Poll's out, time for the thread. UVM pegged second, which seems a bit high given so many losses. But maybe some of the younger players step up and the team has a bona fide star in Mlynkova.
 
Liked a lot of what I saw in the exhibition yesterday - obviously grain of salt because *exhibition*. But the freshmen generally looked good, I like Eikos's game a lot.
 
Pretty fun weekend of hockey despite the lack of a win. Power play needs work (or maybe Clarkson's PK is just nuts). With so many young players coming in, this was a good early test, there's potential in this squad that just needs some time to cook.
 
Very dissapointing against Maine. They only played the last 5 minutes out of 120 minutes played. They weren't sharp, they werern't crisp, they were out hustled, they were sloppy. Goaltending was decent but if you don't shoot you won't score. I'm hoping this is a wakeup call as this team has talent and has shown they can play much better. Quick turnaround for the Northeastern game Tuesday, it won't be an easy game.

Your guess is as good as mine. I know McPherson is/was hurt for a while, but that doesn't excuse the offense going ice cold

On a brighter note...Pelkey with an OT winner in the PWHL today! And Schafzahl with a primary assist between the legs touch pass too. Good to see the alumnae looking good in the new league
 
Anybody got anything to say about that interference call at the end of regulation? Holy smokes, seemed pretty tricky-tack to me.
