That's OK-I woke up middle of the night and had to ask Jenny if the score last night was a dream I had or not! Might see a couple of changes in the line up tonight as from what i saw, there was some exceptionally hard hitting going on and a few rather cheap shots late. Our young def3ense though showed the maturity needed and kept the quality chances against down to a minimum. If they are able to keep that up for tonight it will be a very exciting FreakOut and a chance to break a losing streak in these games. Go Red!!!

Last night was the best performance by an RPI team in many years. Lets hope that they can learn from that and continue to play with that kind of intensity for the rest of the year.
The next three games don't mean much in the standings, but they could be great confidence builders.

A question is how much was due to Dartmouth not taking RPI that seriously. I do agree that this was probably the best performance by the team in quite a few years.

UVM comes into tonight's game with a record of 3-17-4. At first glance, it seems like they should be easy pickings.

Last night, they had an early lead on BU and played them tight most of the game, before a late third-period power play goal and an empty-netter gave BU a 4-2 win.

The previous weekend, they had a three-goal lead on Merrimack on Friday night, but ended up in a 5-5 tie. They had a two-goal lead on Merrimack on Saturday, but gave up a tying goal with 10 seconds to play in the third period and lost in overtime.

The Catamounts clearly have a lot of trouble finishing games. Certainly, they can be beaten.

But they did play Merrimack tough, and Merrimack, we may remember, beat RPI by four goals. The Engineers would be best advised not to take Vermont too lightly.

Oh My God, (you're Jewish, you don't care if I use that term :D) yes. I dropped more than my fair share of objects off the catwalk as well.

If you're so inclined, switch on over to the WRPI feed at the second intermission, I'll be interviewing someone from the 95 Championship team. I'm trying to get Tamburro, but anyone will do.
