Our columnists were on the ball this year, so we are able to announce our USCHO D-III Awards this week. :) Player of the Year was announced this morning: Paul Rodrigues of Oswego. Tomorrow we will post Coach of the Year, Thursday Rookie of the Year, and Friday the All-USCHO first, second, third, and rookie teams. http://www.uscho.com/d3men/

Re: USCHO Awards

Sigh............................

For the record, the UC in UCBadger stands for Utica College.

In Fishman'81, the fish refers to St. John Fisher--which is in Rochester. He is a person who lives in the "greater" Utica area and likes college hockey. Why is he not a RIT fan, you might ask since that it the college hockey team in Rochester? Because they are now D-I and that would conflict with his true love in hockey, Colgate (whose year, btw, was less than stellar).

So what does this all mean?

Its all RIT's fault.

Re: USCHO Awards

How could fishman dislike the Laker's so much being a Colgate fan? Moody's and Gersakis' dads both played for Colgate!

It's the Fishman...it all depends on the catch of the day...one day he's Haddock, another day Sea Bass, another day Tuna, another day Grouper, and another day Salmon......what ever looks the to be the best catch that day, that's what he is....

Re: USCHO Awards

I really think that Colin Mulvey and Travis Janke from Norwich should have been on the list somewhere:confused:

It makes no sense that Colin wasn't on it. Not that Travis isn't deserving either, but with his resume, 25 deserved a place.
