Re: USCHO-2 Fantasy College Hockey 2013-2014 Season
Playoffs start a week from tomorrow (March 17th). Here is a modified roster move format that we have used in the past. Does everyone want to do the modified moves or stick with the regular season rules. Please discuss it hear.
2014 FCH Playoff Schedule:
Quarterfinals: Games occurring Mon Mar 17 through Mon Mar 24
Semifinals: Games occurring Mon Mar 24 through Mon Mar 31
Finals: Games occurring Mon Mar 31 through Mon Apr 14
Weeks run noon to noon, EST.
2014 Playoff Rules:
In Round 1, the teams will be seeded 1-8, with 1 vs 8, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6 and 4 vs 5. In the event of a league with less than 8 teams, dummy teams will be set up.
The top point earner in each head-to-head period will advance, and the winner will inherit the higher seed.

USCHO2 Modified Roster Moves:
1. Like the regular season, moves between your Active Roster/Bench are unlimited throughout the playoffs.
2. At the conclusion of a playoff round, only 4 Bench/Free Agent moves can be made for the next round. All four moves can be taken from the free agent pool, OR, you can
SNIPE two players from the roster of the team you just defeated, and take two players from the free agent pool, for a total of 4 moves.
3. All
Snipes must be completed BEFORE the start of the first game of the current playoff round or they are lost and cannot be carried over to the next day or to the next round. Bench/Free Agent moves however, can be taken up to the start time of the first game of the 2nd day of games for that playoff round.
4. It is advised that your snipes are declared early in the week of the playoff round so there is time for the defeated opponent to release their 2 players and for you to add them to your roster. If there is no response to your snipe request, the FCH web master can make the necessary moves if needed.
5. Once a team is eliminated from the playoffs, their roster is frozen (except for the 2 allowed snipes) and the remaining players are not available as free agents.
SUMMARY:
1. Unlimited moves between your Bench and Free Agents are allowed until noontime, Monday, 3/17, which is the start of the First Round. No further free agent moves are allowed until the second round.
2. First (Quarterfinal) Round: Starts Monday, 3/17 at noon. Ends Monday, 3/24 at noon. This round coincides with conference playoffs, championship weekend.
3. Second (Semifinal) Round: Starts Monday, 3/24 at noon. Ends Monday, 3/31 at noon. Maximum of 4 Bench/Free Agent moves, 2 of which can be snipes. This round coincides with the NCAA Regional games.
4. Final Round: Starts Monday, 4/1 at noon. Maximum of 4 Bench/Free Agent moves, 2 of which can be snipes. This round coincides with the Frozen Four.
5. Our FCH Champion will be crowned on Sunday, April 14th.
Good Luck!
