USA Hockey District Selections / National Camps 2010

It's that time of year again...

These are the 2010 U17 & U16 NDP selections I've been able to find thus far (* denotes returning player from previous year). Allocations are from 2009 and may not reflect 2010. If someone has the current allocations, please post or let me know. As always, let me know of any corrections, additions, or missing information.

Allocations from the Rocky Mountain District at the U17 level last year were 3F, 1D.

Okay -- this is a little confusing to me. I "think" these are last year's selections, but this thread is for 2010 selections. I know you are trying to show distribution from each district, but then when the new girls get picked for this year, where are we to put those names? Wouldn't it be better if we had the distributions break-down without names and then added them for this year as they come in?

Pakidnyc.... I took the format from last year, emptied out the 2009 selections, added the 2010 selections. Only the allocations are from last year as I can't seem to find the new allocations.

Thanks GC2....see, I am easily confused, but it makes perfect sense now! I know Mass has their spring festival this weekend, Southeast and Midams have their tryouts as well. Next weekend is Central District final weekend. Anyone know when NY, Pacific and Rocky Mtn. will pick?

NY is done (they never post results), the rest of the dates above are valid to the best of my knowledge.

Pacific District has tryouts in Washington May 7-10th

Rocky Mountain District Camp is May 5-9 (way too long and expensive in my opinion. Based on the format, they could shorten it by a day easily and could arrange it so 2 less nights in a hotel are needed).

I heard from someone that was there that Ben Smith was at the Mid Am District Tryouts this weekend. Why would that be?

They've had other USA Hockey bigwigs at Mid-Am tryouts before. The lady running the show (at least when I knew the goings on in that district) seemed to be able to attract a lot of names to various district functions.

Yes, NY does not post their result. Isn't USA Hockey supposed to be transparent? Why does Every Single district post their results except NY? Unless they have something they want to hide, or they don't want to tell anyone publicly who makes the national camp? I really can not understand why NY would not post it just like everyone else does.
They can say it has to do with privacy or the rights of the girls, but USA hockey has everyone else post the names, both boys and girls, so why would NY be the only district that does not want to post their results?
Anyone have any answers for this?

And when the National Camps start, all the girls names/stats are posted on the USA Hockey website.

Selections results due out soon for:
Mid-Am - Selections are supposed to be posted today
Michigan - Participants were told that if selected, they will receive a phone call within 48 hours of the conclusion of all try outs (from website). This should be today but I don't remember if they post results or not.
Southeastern - Selections to be posted by 5pm, Wed 21st
Mass - Completed - They typically post results but don't know when or where (I can never seem to find anything on the massdistrict website)
