Figured I'd start this thread up...puck drops at 7:05. UMD took care of Mercyhurst 6-0 in the matinee earlier today.

No speed, no passing lanes due to solid UVM defense. We couldn't have had 30 seconds of sustained offense in that period.

Disappointing.

No, he's the backup. Our starting goalie is Rob Madore. I guess coach Sneddon decided to give Spillane the nod thinking it was the easier matchup, and then start Madore tomorrow night against UMD (based on how the game is going, however, UVM may end up playing mercyhurst).

Train from deBruyn and Barker on the powerplay with 10:36 left made it 2-1.

Jarvinen from Bruni tied it with just over 8 minutes left.

Key difference, UAH penalties.

First - 3 for 6 minutes
Second - 0 for 0 minutes

Amazing what you can do when you keep all five guys on the ice for 20 minutes.

yes. outshooting UAH 31-10 and losing. i know SOG dont tell the story all the time, but thats hard to overlook. Wow.
