Ty Conklin was at the Whitt last night at the Open House event that UNH put on. I didn't attend that, but I did see him during the game.

Steve Moses is currently playing for Helsingin Jokerit in the Finnish Elite League.

Damon Kipp was released from the Providence Bruins last week & is now in the ECHL with the SC Stingrays.

So I surf into TheAHL.com this afternoon, and what do I see on the front page but a big photo of Darren Haydar and a link to a recent article/interview (with more photos) that's really nicely done:

"He's absolutely the face of the franchise," said Wolves general manager Wendell Young. "He might be the face of the AHL, actually, when you look at where he is in all-time scoring, the active scoring leaders list" ...

Couldn't have happened to a better/nicer person of course ...

"As for his future, Haydar said he'd like to play for a few more years — perhaps that NHL dream will still be fulfilled one day — and after that, he'd like to coach" ...

Ahh, if only we could see him one day behind the bench at the Whitt ...

Kevin McCarey is no longer on the Elmira roster (he only played in 1 game according to hockeydb & was a +2...) Not sure what happened there.

Also Matt Campanale is now with Fritsch on the Las Vegas Wranglers.
