HumRsky, I feel you may have confused schools. tUMD does not play the Ole song. We sang it tonight though!!!!!

I know Plante26 was ripping Mankato for playing the song, which I thought was humorous because the UMD students sing it, although it's not played in the arena. I do like it when the students sing it, because having been a part of a supporters club in Sweden, the more like a European hockey atmosphere the better.

Thanks Scooby and Plante26. Too bad we don't play Tech again in Anchorage. Teams that play them four times have quite an advantage, at least this year.

It doesn't help in the pwr though. We actually had to have that win taken out of our RPI.

Not to mention we knocked the Neutered Cattle out of the PWR TsUC, so we actually dropped a spot below 'Sconny.

The only bad part is that now we have to pull for the Mavs to get back into the TsUC in order to help out our record against TsUC.

"Culture" and "Mankato" don't have any business being mentioned together.

That said, I'll take Minnesota-flavored hockey atmosphere over European hockey atmosphere any day. Because, you know, I'm kinda proud of where I'm from instead of envying other cultures.

We're 3rd now, with UW losing.

I am confident that Mankato will become a TUC again.

And Duluth does? What does Duluth have to offer that Mankato doesn't? It's funny, the Dogs get in first place and all the sudden you guys think you are in Minneapolis and are the Golden Gophers :rolleyes:

With the way you shoot your mouth off, I think you'd fit right in with the Mavs student section.
