PUCKMAN RULES!!!
Last night looked like a team that has never played together and since half of the players are new to RPI, I guess that we are going to have to live with that for a while.
I would hope to see more energy tonight. Neither team looked great 5on5 and the special teams for RPI were awful.
We can only go up from here.

Lets go red!!!!!!!!!

Playing on the big sheet certainly didnt help with the out of position players like coach said. Liked the line of DiGrande, Marrello and Ott. Other than those three and Lacka offense was ugh. 5v5 they had the better of the play. Kill any of the penalties in the first it's a 3-1 final. I think tonight will be different story. Truly believe this team will be fighting for final home playoff spot. UMASS was picked to finish 6th in a very tough Hockey East. Ok, rose colored glasses now focused on Nittany's vs Mich. State game.

I will be there at the HFH to support the team. I can't believe all the negativity I read for this team already. You would think they lost 19 out of the last 20 games. Give them a chance to grow and learn together. I am optimistic. Go red!

Believe me, I think all of us want to be positive about this team. As much as we're excited for that to come, though, just as much do mistakes and bad habits end up staying the same. When you see it, you sometimes just get the feeling that it's going to be a long season. Maybe it's the pessimist in me that wants to see good but expect bad in order to not feel the anguish of disappoint. I'm not giving up on this team, though. RPI will persevere.

Just looked at my tickets for tonight’s game and it says “Houston Field House Arena”. So does HFH become HFHA??
