UMass at UNH --Continued regression to the mean (hopefully)

For those who are still without power in the northeast: this photo shows it all

Wow! 'Nuf said.

Delaware towmship, right above the river. Our unpaved road is bottom of the pecking order. Pretty though!
I realize you are cureently communicatively-challenged, but what does "Delaware Township" mean -- is it the name of the municipality in which you live?

Re: UMass at UNH --Continued regression to the mean (hopefully)

I' listening only peripherally to the game at the moment -- am watching the Led Zeppelin concert movie "The Song Remains the Same" with my son and daughter-in-law and carrying on other conversations. No change to the score.

:D
Yes. Next to tiny Stockton. Pop. 500
Wow. I hope there are more than a few different last names in the town. Or are you that rural?

UNH to the PP; first of the evening.

TVR one-times it, but a save is made. And UNH will be having another PP tagging on to the few secs left in the 1st.

Yup. Tinyest town elementary school in the state. 47 students K through 6. How's that for a student teacher ratio?

Re: UMass at UNH --Continued regression to the mean (hopefully)

Downing gets his first goal as a Wildcat!!! Power play, UNH now up 7-3. OK that's enough -- save some for tomorrow night. Maine will be looking to salvage a couple points this weekend, assuming they go on to lose tonight.

It sounds great, but think of the social aspect -- < 7 children per class? Imagine the dances in later grades. Kinda like home schooling -- the one-on-one attention is terrific, but the prom is no fun.

Re: UMass at UNH --Continued regression to the mean (hopefully)

I lost my radio feed several minutes ago -- still 7-3, according to CHN. And BC now up 5-1 over Maine.

Re: UMass at UNH --Continued regression to the mean (hopefully)

I just checked the live scoreboard, and UNH is on the penalty kill at 17:05 or so. Doesn't matter -- this game was in the bag a while ago. Interesting that the SOG have been very close -- within 1 each period, despite the lopsided score. (Insert "goalie--sieve" cheer here.)

Re: UMass at UNH --Continued regression to the mean (hopefully)

And that's it folks, or folk, as the case may be. Good victory tonight -- the points are helpful, and the trend is looking much more favorable than it was a few bleak weeks ago.

Goodnight, Richard and whomever else might be hanging around. Richard -- I hope that you have power restored tonight (hey, there's always hope, right?) and if not tonight, then as soon as possible. And the same goes for anybody else out there sans electricity. Stay warm, and stay well.

'Night, all.

Trust me, they find ways (smile). Cool part is that you can be very flexible across grades depending on your strength or weakness in any given subject. On names: lots of Irish who are descendats of those who cam as indentured labor to build the the 30+ mile cana; in the 1840's. Still runs though the town alonside the Delaware River. Forgive typos on this tthis cursed thing.

Re: UMass at UNH --Continued regression to the mean (hopefully)

Hey folks, sorry I missed this one, but there was something going on at work tonight. Nice to see we won very convincingly. Can't wait to see how we do against Maine tomorrow night. See you then,

Dean :)
