Missed the first 10 minutes...screwed up on the time.

Was the play fairly even like the last 10 minutes of the first were?

UMD missed a great opportunity...Peters was down...lift the puck...lift the puck!

Still scoreless after two. Shots are 22-14 Gophers, which is a oretty good representation of the game.

Exciting game...end to end action.

UM with several good opportunities before UMD hit the crossbar twice...once with Crossman in all alone after being head manned the puck and with a nice move too.

UM seemed to have the advantage in play with more puck control.

Rooney playing extremely well again.

The 'Dogs need to challenge Peters and created more passing opportunities in close and get her moving side to side.

The Gophers picked up a bad case of the yips as soon as they scored, and UMD pucked their intensity. Nerve wracking.

I thought the Gophers played the last two minutes extremely well. Composed and smart play.

Congrats to the Bulldogs on a great season.

Great, exciting, entertaining game.

Never seen Crossman play a better game. She put out maximum effort big time.

The 'Dogs just couldn't seem to get any bounces or rolls in front that would afford them good shots from in close although they had other types of opportunities.

Glad to see UMD's breakout working for the most part today.

Peters with a nice glove save in the third. She played well. And will be giving a nod to her best friend(s) tonight.

Rooney stood on her head again but as with the last few games UMD didn't convert enough or in this instance, at all. Credit UM for some of that.

Congratulations to UM.

I'd say all three of the other survivors of today's games would have a very difficult time against either one of these two teams the way these two played today.

Extremely fast play, lots of quick accurate passing with adequate petrol still in the tank at the final buzzer.

Full marks to each team.

Bulldogs kicked butt, man! Yes, what a great game. I'm so happy for our team that they managed to pull it out.

I talked about Crossman earlier in the year as being an eye catching player for the Dogs and she was scary today. Dan Hamann our play-by-play guy made the cliche mention of how too bad it is that someone had to lose today's game, but yeah that's not a cliche it is the absolute truth.

Congrats to both teams :)

Have to agree...This was a terrific game and the best game of the four games today. As you mentioned, UMD did a very good job of moving the puck out of their own end which didn't allow Minnesota to control the puck as much as they typically do.

Believe me we know the feeling! If there is any consolation, it took a great play by the Gophers to win it.

Marshall broke in from the point didn't she? (One short defensive lapse was all it took...and she took advantage of it...exploit any weakness regardless of how fleeting...excellent job).

And a freshman yet...she'll remember this one for a long time.

No, she was part of the play/rush and was just following it up from the far side of the ice moving to the middle of the ice and a bit delayed.
