Off of a Niagara turnover, Latta scores his second of the game for UConn to make it 5-0. Goal came at 7:01 of the second.

Paul Zanette scores to cut the UConn lead to 5-2. UConn had a penalty coming up, so Niagara will go to the PP as well.

On the PP Patrick Divjak scores to cut the UConn lead to 5-3. Goal at 14:29 of the second. Suddenly this is a game.

Pretty exciting period as UConn storms out to a 5-0 lead, only to see Niagara score 3 unanswered goals to make it 5-3 Huskies at the end of 2. Should be a great third period.

Another early goal for UConn by Latta for the hattrick and it's 6-3 Huskies. Niagara announcer says it's a highlight reel goal.

Edit. Latta only has 2 goals tonight, but he does have 4 points now.
