We couldn't overcome a horrible start last night, but we regrouped and played a very good second and third period.
I hope that they got the jitters out of the way last night and show Union what we can do when we are focused.
Lets go RED!!!!!!!!!!

Will be missing in action for much of the evening. Might get to see a small part of this one. Impression from last night. Union is better than a 3-5 team and has a couple of very talented boys. We are better than a 1-2-2 team and have a good mixture of team talent albeit with some of the same weaknesses that we have had for years. I like very much how this coach makes changes during games and even during periods. I like very much that this team does not quit. I see a little improvement in face offs and break out plays from our own end. We have a way to go for sure but my optimism has not taken a hit as yet. I am still looking at 18 wins for the season (or more unless we have an inordinate number of ties). I think the boys will find it fun and successful playing for this coach.
Now go out and get that split tonight. We have been totally out of any game so far and I do not want to see that happen tonight. Against union, unfortunately, the officials often play a huge part and i can only hope they do not cause us to become frustrated tonight in front of a sell out HFH crowd. Go Red! And congrats to the football team who just refused to fold up and die today simply because of late SLU touchdown. Coming back to win late with a last minute drive shows tremendous character (and good coaching).

In the women's competition, a 4-1 win keeps us undefeated in league play at 3 points. Surprisingly, Union is also undefeated in league play, at 4 points. :eek:

Wouldn't be shocked if Perry is working RPI-TV. Obviously Kurt's in SLU (he hasn't done hockey for a while I don't think), and I don't know if they have anyone else, especially since one guy's on paternity leave and the other is taking care of a kid.

Perry is on RPITV, but I was hoping to also hear the pregame on WRPI. He did say he was on WRPI.

RPI-TV uses our feed, so we'd be on both, unless it was a special game like Freakout. Technical difficulties.
