Twitch, I'm with you on the crisis of conscience. UAA and MTU are two of my favorite non-winged helmet teams! The former because I enjoy Anchorage like a second hometown, and the latter because of my Michigan upbringing. I usually go with the underdog in tough cases, but this season that means I'll be cheering against MTU a lot! My indecision continues.

Twitch has no crisis of conscience. He knows d@mn well who he'll be cheering for...or else. :p

Mel pregame interview:
Worked on what we do in our D zone
Young defense with Carl and Tommy out
Need to play in UAA zone to take pressure of defense
Need to keep things simple on PP
Genoe has worked hard, looked good in Bemidji, time for Kevin to get a start
Carl might be back for St. Lawrence, want to be careful with head injuries
Very pleased with first group of incoming signees - Damon and Billy did a great job, will announce those kids next week
Team bonding, rode down coastline on Thursday it's been good, now need to play a consitent game

glass problems. when we were up there the glass broke. it was quite exciting as the fans and the team saw it and it seemed like forever before the refs did.

I'm listening, not watching. but this sounds boring so far.

have been pleasantly surprised how little rink advertisements there are at the Tech games. Mitch use to blather the whole game. Dirk really has a bunch of them too. not blaming Mitch or Dirk, its how the stations/arenas sell the ads. I don't like it though.

zero degrees in Anchorage. -47 in Fairbanks. similar when we were there but that was February!

Not a pretty period at all... Picked up at the end a bit, hope they can carry that to the 2nd.
