The No. 8 Pioneers (3-2-1, 2-1-1 WCHA) host defending NCAA champion Minnesota Duluth (4-3-1, 2-2-0 WCHA) this weekend.
Denver is fifth in the WCHA with five points and Minnesota Duluth is tied for sixth with four points.
The DU Parents will be honored and introduced during an on-ice ceremony at the first intermission of the Saturday, Nov. 5 game.
Junior co-captain Drew Shore (3-7=10) and sophomore Jason Zucker (4-6=10) lead DU in scoring with 10 points each. Shore and Zucker led the Pioneers in scoring last season with 46 and 45 points, respectively.
Sophomore Joey LaLeggia (4-2=6) leads WCHA rookie defensemen with six points. LaLeggia tallied two goals last weekend and has a three-game point and goal streak.
