I noticed that Trevor Stewart is no longer UAA’s associate head coach. Anybody knows why he is no longer behind the bench? I think he is a fabulous hockey coach….

NCAA D-I Rumor: Trevor Stewart to depart UAA to become a family advisor.

Might as well make this the UAA thread.

Sad to see UAA lost Stewart, Whale, Bamber, Thompson, among others. But interested in what Potter and Edwards can bring to the team. Gonna be thin at goalie, protection every night is key. For traditional freshman, Contreras in particular I'm excited for. I've yearned for a Cygan-esque player again, he might be it.

UNH fan here. What did you like about Jared Whale in your net and any ideas why he transferred via the portal? We got lucky last season with a portal goalie transfer Jakob Hellsten from Nodak who was probably most responsible for our first winning season in a decade. Unfortunately, Hellsten did not stay for his senior year by going pro back in Sweden, so hoping for a similar impact from Whale in net at UNH this season.

Strong goalie, physically and mentally. Just kept getting better and carried the team to almost a winning season here, night and day difference in his play since walking on campus. No idea on why he transferred, an actual arena, closer to scouts, a better school experience top to bottom? Our assumed starter Orosz looked good last season in limited play, but not steal the starting role good. You got a good one.
