-Plymouth State beat Salem State 3-2. Salem and Plymouth are now tied for 2nd place in the MASCAC with 19 points (Plymouth has the tiebreaker with a 2-1 record vs. Salem). Both trail Fitchburg, who has 20 points and until their game with Framingham goes final tonight, two games in hand.

-In the battle of Worcester, Assumption leads Worcester State 5-2 through the second period.

Make that 3-0. Jackets are putting pressure on Kleiman and the CSS D, but the Saints seem most dangerous when breaking out of the Dzone.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm seeing/hearing things. Still 2-0.

Doesn't seem like much of an NCHA matchup. 2nd period almost done, and the first penalty of the game just got called. Roughing to CSS. Interesting how it was called: One ref had his hand up for it, the Jackets pull their goalie and get the extra man on. Ref #2 doesn't know the penalty is being called or that the goalie is out, so he blows it dead for a non-existant too-many-men

And the Jackets score on it. 2-1 Scholastica.

Suffolk comes up with three in the third to upset Wentworth, 4-2.

-Assumption wins the battle of Worcester 6-2 over Worcester State.

-Box score from Suffolk's 4-2 win over Wentworth. Ignore anything I may have said before I edited this.

-Fitchburg State beat Framingham State 6-3. The Falcons sweep the Rams, take a three point lead in the MASCAC (which can be cut to two if Westfield wins), and improves to 15/16-3-1 on the season.
