Never. That was easy.

I suppose if a player jumped into the stands and began pummeling a small child... but the kid may have deserved it.

Whoops! I clicked the wrong option! Count me in for "Never". Boo the s*** out of the refs, boo the other team if you like, but if you're booing your own guys, you shouldn't even bother going to the games.

I boo those who leave the game midway through the third period when my team is losing. I will not boo my team.

Boo your own during the game? Never. Leave mid-period for the bar to complain about awful play of said player? Why not, at least you're drinking.

I think I've only booed Reed Kipp, mainly because every time he touched the puck, bad things happened. I felt bad when I met him later, since he seemed like a really nice guy, but I stand by my position. It wasn't personal, and I wasn't surprised when he was cut.

Never ever, but not because they're amateur athletes - so are the guys on the other team that I'm heckling like crazy.

I never boo my own team because, even if it's a negligible amount, it has to help just a little bit to hear encouragement *especially* when things aren't going well on the ice. If a player reacted negatively in those kinds of situations, he'd be called a "head case" or a "lockerroom cancer." The same applies to the fans - negativity is contagious, and there's never any good that will come from kicking your own player when he's down.

Obviously someone doesn't follow the RPI threads very often. Red Cloud is rarely wrong.

The question was about booing your own team. This is REGARDLESS of the other team. Personally I disagree with booing your own team; but there's no right or wrong on this one.

Can you boo your own team when they commit an unbelievably stupid penalty. Because that's the only time I would even consider it.
