Thee Future home of UAA Seawolves Hockey???

Since UAA, the board of regents and the legislature choose not to fund the hockey program as a D1 school, what do you say we save the state of Alaska some money and move the UAA hockey team to D 2 Club status? It seems like many problems would be solved by making this tran$ition. There are plenty of west coast teams to start new rivalries with. What say thee?
