Hockey News recently released a special edition entitled the Top 50 all time amateur club dream teams and several prominent college teams made the list. Boston College led the way, ranked number 15 overall, featuring an all star line up that included Joey Mullen, Kevin Stevens and Bill Guerin up front and Brian Leetch with Bob Scuderi manning the blue line and backstopped by Corey Schneider. Other teams making the list were North Dakota, Wisconsin, Cornell, Vermont, B.U., Michigan State, Denver, Bowling Green, R.P.I., U.M.D., Minnesota, Michigan and Maine.
They even did a ranking of the top pro circuits over-seas and of course the fabled CSKA Red Army led the list followed by the equally storied Moscow Dynamo club.
