Does anyone have any to share? Michigan Tech thread just posted a couple going back like 100 years ago.
For sheer continuity of hockey history, it's hard to beat the the Boston Arena (now Matthews Arena), the nation's oldest, continuously operating multipurpose arena, opened in 1910. Nice story and several old pics: https://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/30/sports/hockey/30arena.html
Original home of the Boston Bruins, Boston Celtics, New England Whalers (AKA Carolina Hurricanes), and Boston Olympics. Home at one time or another to every college hockey team in Boston and most high school teams in eastern Massachusetts. Original home of the Beanpot Tournament. Now home to the Northeastern Huskies. This building is probably the single biggest reason, with due respect to Bobby Orr, that hockey sunk deep roots in the northeast.
It would be cool if they moved the beanpot back there. It's a shame attendance has dropped so much at the garden, but I certainly can't blame people not wanting to spend the money.

Actually not the oldest continuously operating arena ... because it burned down, and was rebuilt. Some arena in Michigan has it beat. But the Matthews thing makes for a fine myth for Northeastern.

That would be the Calumet Colosseum (known better to many as the Armory), the host of the 2019 Kraft Hockeyville game between the Red Wings and Blues.

It also has the oldest operating artificial ice surface, first installed when the arena was built in 1909-10.Yeah, there was that piddling little fire https://1drv.ms/b/s!AsctSMNJHwhi5dx_088h-kd4HM7tHw?e=0oZVxl that put the original Boston Arena out of commission for a couple of seasons. So I'll amend my post to read oldest continuously operating college hockey arena.
