Biggest reason why UND won? Their defense. Q couldn't get anything going within the slot area and had big trouble in breakouts/transition. Johnson made the saves he had too but without that defensive effort it might have been a different game.

Q wasn't just in trouble in the slot area, they struggled all game to get any extended possession in the UND zone. The Sioux put on a clinic on getting possession of the puck and breaking it out.

For as many saves as he had, I didn't think Johnson had to work all that hard. Q never seemed to get any looks from good scoring positions. Everything was long or from a bad angle.
