The Hall of Shame

There are only five NCAA Division III Ice Hockey Members:
Jan 28, 2010 - State University of New York at Geneseo
Jan 28, 2010 - Buffalo State College
Feb 22, 2007 - University of Southern Maine
Jun 7, 1994 - Colorado College (It sponsors 16 Division III sports and two Division I sports, men's ice hockey and women's soccer.)
Mar 29, 1990 - Plattsburgh State University of New York

Wise up . In DIII hockey it's the way things are done--- the tip of the iceberg. Show me a top flight program that isn't bending the rules.

Went hunting for various VACATEDs, eventually stumbled upon an interesting story. Apparently Syracuse treats its vacant title a little differently than Plattsburgh :o

Also, a fun historical report: SMU football becomes the only program ever to receive the "death penalty." About as strongly worded a release as you'll see from the NCAA outside of its unhealthy infatuation with Mobius strips:

Not only is Southern Methodist University a repeat major violator, but its past record of violations is nothing short of abysmal.
