Goes right along with the rest of their hypocrisy- as long as billionaires get more money- they will do anything. Including using race to make up fake social issues to be angry over- so that you get people who are massively hurt by the only policy they have keep voting for them.
The entire Racist party is really good at the whole Tom Sawyer giving out the honor of painting the wall shtick to poor people. They have found very creative ways to make sure the rich and powerful vacuum up more and more of it. (For the more Animal House people- this would be "thank you sir, may I have another")

Watching the morning news- where are the old GQP crowd to fight dumpy? Like Liz's dad. That guy was super powerful, and has a lot of rich people behind him. Even though they are the reasons dumpy even came along, with their rhetoric, they have consistently been pretty aggressive against what has been going on.

We don't know what that district will look like after the redistricting. Meijer was in a close race. For a Republican he isn't a GQP, so there is that.

So this dumpy fascination is kind of stupid, especially on him, specifically. While he may last quite a few more years, the number of years dumpy has left in any manner to be a dictator is finite. It's not as if he's some magic old dude who will live forever. So why are so many young Racists so eager to follow him so blindly? Do they not see past 2 years?
Even people like Biden seems to know this about himself, when you look at the age of people he has surrounding him- including taking his spot. It was not long ago when D's even lamented the age of Pelosi, to find young blood.
Seems really odd.
I get the racist path they are taking, as they are so afraid of loosing their white power. Numbers don't lie. Then again, numbers don't lie to point out how much of a loser path this is in any run- there are more than enough white Americans who are totally sickened by the racist BS they put out to put them very much out of power.
Michigan 2022 will be interesting after the redistricting. I fully expect that Racist will bring out racists to run, and not even try to hide it. Their mantra of money grab has been noted by their small business owners- although I'm not sure it's enough to change their votes.

I think with a lot of these clowns you need to go back to 1/6 to see how they really feel. I think McCarthy hates Trump, I think he blames him for not having either House of Congress and the Insurrection and fully was on board ousting his influence. The problem is, there are too many weak willed members of his caucus along with Cultists like MTG and the Colorado Qucumber which means he will never be purged. McCarthy is not as safe as Cheney should have been. They tried ousting her after her vote to Impeach...and that scared the Bejesus out of him. He has kissed the ring ever since. His only shot to be Speaker is if the Nazis back him which means he kisses the ring. He doesn't have the stones to stand up for what he believes in because all he believes in is being the Party Leader.
The GOP at this point is the German government when Hitler took charge. The only way Germany would have a functioning government at that point was to let Hitler be Chancellor. (too divided) That is the GOP. the only chance they have to keep power is to keep the Crazies under the tent.

Well, not the only chance. It’s keep the crazies in the tent, and gerrymander the rest of us with their statehouses. I’m aware of the independent commissions in some states, but even after accounting for more of them this time around versus 2010, the GOP is in the driver’s seat again for redistricting.
