Throw all records out the door when these two teams play.

Then again, I don't think Yale will mind forgetting that their overall record at Bright is a crazy 4-35-3

Both teams 0-1 on pp. Yale will have ~1 minute left on PP to start the 2nd.

Yale controlling play but Harvard with best scoring chance on their PP.

Once again,YHF, I agree with you.All in all, I thought the Bulldogs looked pretty sharp. I think it will be important for Yale to get the first goal. Maybe
early in the second on the PP.

Harvard scores twice in a minute to take a 2-1 lead. first a ppg from Leblanc, no chance for Malcolm. Second was a softy, short side from just inside the blue line.

Fallstrom scores for Harvard and now 2-1 Harvard.

Keep in mind that Yale recruited Fallstrom very hard and there were some folks in New Haven that were very unhappy with him ultimately choosing the Crimson.

Without doubt the most significant weakness on the Yale team is the lack of good goaltending.

That's what I worry about Yale this year. They are the most talented team in the ECAC, but come play-off time, when teams are more guarded and defensively-oriented, can Yale's goaltending rise to the occasion?

I think they really need to recruit a goaltending stud.

3-1 Harvard after 2 periods... pretty even period (again) but Harvard gets a couple that Malcolm wants back. Harvard did a great job in the last 10 minutes of that period blocking shots and crowding lanes, generally making life tough for the Yale offense.

By all accounts the yale goaltending is talented, just young. I think the frosh they have will certainly be fine in the long run. whether they are enough for a deep run this season, however, remains to be seen...
