Oh yes!!!!

bu WILL be away from home (the best chance we have for continuous bu victories :D )!
Hah! Completely subconscious, but yeah I just don't see them losing. They are so talented, skill and speed. They are young, but from a distance seem to be maturing and getting stronger from game to game.

So how close does the arena have to be for it to be a "home game" or on "home ice?"

If I decide to go to the library and work on a case, am I working out of my home office because it is 2 miles to the library?

I just don't buy the argument that just because it is close it is a home game or on home ice. It is the same discussion I would have with people when they would say that Minnesota had home ice when they played at the X. Just because an arena is close, does not mean that it is home ice. Does Providence have an advantage that they don't have to travel? Yes. Are they playing a home game on home ice? No.

Yeah.

Case dismissed with prejudice.:D

Home Ice, as defined by the NCAA is a campus arena. There are flaws in that (see: The Xcel, REA, etc). But that is the rule in place.

it is not a campus arena, it is the arena the team plays the majority of its home games at...Amsoil is UMD's home ice even if it is not owned by the university or on campus.
