It's 3-2 Colgate now at the end of the 1st period from Starr Rink ... Once again we allow 3 goals in the 1st period, it's becoming an alarming trend as I believe this is now the 4th game in a row allowing 3 goals in the 1st. That's an area that needs to be addressed, problem is ... What's causing it?

The positives for the 1st: We played with a lot of intensity, we passed the puck well and created some good opportunities, the power play looks strong again as well.

The negatives: GOALTENDING!!!

I think this is going to be a season where we are never going to be able to score enough goals to make up for the amount we give up.

Back and forth so far this period, not much happening, minimal chances either side ... 3-2 Colgate

Wenninger loses his balance and Colgate with a wide open net and manages to miss a wide open net, hitting Wenninger right into the chest ... I'll take it ... 3-2 Colgate

Icing on SLU now with 10:15 to go in the 2nd and it's still Colgate with a 3-2 lead

Penalty on St. Lawrence, 9:16 left in the 2nd, penalty is to Gunner Hughes ... We could stay out of the box any time now and that would be great ... 3-2 Colgate

Colgate PP Goal and it's now 4-2 Colgate ... 7:58 left in the 2nd ... You would think being the worst penalty kill in the nation would be incentive enough to stay out of the box :rolleyes:

6:30 left in the 2nd, still 4-2 Colgate ... Colgate has carried the majority of the play this period and looks like pulling away from the Saints

Wenninger stops a breakaway and then makes two consecutive brilliant saves to keep it 4-2 Colgate

St. Lawrence with it's first real good opportunity of the period on a 2-1 and Finn stops it to keep it 4-2 Colgate with 3:32 left in the 2nd
