St. Lawrence at Colgate, 1/30/10

TheValleyRaider

Let's Go 'Gate!
It's Hockey Night in Hamilton

Colgate comes off a big 6-1 win over Clarkson, while St. Lawrence suffered a tough 2-1 loss at Cornell

The Saints won 4-0 in Canton just two weeks ago, so the Raiders get a chance for revenge

St. Lawrence goes for the weekend split, series sweep; Colgate the weekend sweep and series sweep

OK, Saints, this'll be a big test. SLU should be the underdog tonight and needs to play like it.

Re: St. Lawrence at Colgate, 1/30/10

Mildly disappointing. 4 Power-Plays for the Raiders that period, and no goals to show for it. Some credit certainly goes to SLU for some good kills, but Colgate needs to convert those opportunities. In part because of the penalties, Colgate is carrying the play, but has not turned that carrying into a great many scoring opportunities. I'm concerned with how those chances have gone to waste. Keep up the pressure and get some real shots on Tisi

Some stats from Live Stats

I see TWO PP's in our future. But maybe not in this game.
