Husky fans - we've seemingly been missing from this forum all season! Might as well start it up now when everything is getting interesting for conference championships and NCAA seeding.

Should be a good weekend series with the Dogs. Got to have some pay back from coming up empty at Amsoil in late January. The Herb looks to be pretty much sold out!

Well the UMD series was quite entertaining with both games ending up 4-3, Huskies taking it late in 3x3 OT on Saturday. Big swing in momentum on the disallowed goal in the 3rd but UMD clearly offsides on the play. Fun game to watch with a full house last night.

And now just like last season the Dogs are at the Herb for the first round NCHC playoffs. I'd say there is a great chance that this series goes to three games. Huskies looking for PWR improvement and the Dogs fighting for their lives to keep their season alive.

As anticipated, the first two games were hard fought battles and it will take game 3 to determine which team will advance to the Frozen Faceoff in St Paul. The play in both games had plenty of back and forth action, with neither team able to establish much prolonged offensive zone time. Goaltending has been very good on both sides. Might expect to see Castor in net tonight for St Cloud though after Basse serving last two nights due to potential fatigue factor. Now that CC has knocked out W. Mich, the extra plum here is a #3 seed for the winner in St Paul, and not having to play Denver in game 1.
