After a disastrous trip to the desolate plains of N. Dakota, Pioneers come home for last games before the holiday break. Time for Denver hockey--Relentless.

Great to be able to watch a game of this import on a night when UNO is off and DU here right after the first of the year.

Interesting how the tenor, pace, feel, vibe of this game is so different from the Minnesota/Michigan "undercard" tonight.

Heinen and Moore have been playing well, but not really scoring like last year.

Which one do I dislike more? Lucia has been giving the gophers a real boost in the dislike column.

The DU announcers don't know how many teams the NCHC sent to the NCAA tourney last season, as they discuss the "five" that went? I mean, the six that did go tied the all time record for a single conference.

Let's not get bogged down with the facts.

Great game so far. SCSU has few peers on offense. One of 5 teams, nationally, averaging more than 4 goals per game.
