As a Badger fan that sat at home and watched the game with my wife, who is a Sioux fan, neither of us could really question the calls for the 5 minute penalties.

The league is making a focus on hits to the head, just like they are with hits from behind.

The second call was a tough one to make, but he elbowed him in the head, and that's the way they are making the calls.

Regardless, the Badgers were outplayed by the Sioux throughout the game. The UW powerplay looked like they had no idea where anyone was supposed to be on any given play, and that's when they were lucky enough to have the puck in the zone for more than 15 seconds.

UND deserved the win in the game, no doubts about it from my household.

I'll be at the game tomorrow with the family and am just looking to see a better game than tonight. (To be honest, it was a pretty lackluster game.)

I really dislike that crease rule. They should change it to interfering with the goalie. Could be 2-0 if that rule used common sense.

Nice to see UND finally solve Gudsmansson. Ramage ties it up. Then Corban Knight scores two and MMFF gets his 2nd goal of the night.

I decided that Wisco player checking the net was one of the funniest things/dumbest penalties i've ever seen in my life.
