Game is underway now, and no thread?!? 1:30 has elapsed so far, nothing of note really, other than the announcers saying the temperature is in the 40's outside lol..

QU gets a elbowing penalty, now SCSU will get 59sec of a 5x3 starting at the 3:47mark of the 1st.

28sec left in the PP, 14:41 left in 1st. SCSU is peppering the puck down low for good chances, but nothing converting yet

and QU kills the penalties, still scoreless. Another penalty just called though, Osland called for Contact to the Head, so now QU's (23.1%) Power Play goes onto the ice.

and now a penalty called on QU for boarding 1:03 into the penalty, so we have 57sec of 4x4 before a SCSU PP.

And now Novak was tripped up, announcer saying it wasn't much. now it's a 4x3 SCSU PP

6min left in the 1st period, SCSU keeping the momentum up after the PP flurry, outshooting QU 14-3.

A bunch of back and forth action but nothing really on net, and that brings us to the end of the 1st period. SCSU up 1-0 on Lasch's 5x3 PP goal at the 8:53 mark.
