From the video stream, it looks like the Finlandia rink was designed for mites...

Could be just a weird lens on the camera I suppose.

Wow. Lawrence was the worst team I've seen come into the Willett in about ten years. That was complete domination I think shots were about 50-15. Pointers now 10-1.

Because they may not be able to get out? Or the refs could not get to the game.

Or, if you are in a rent a rink situation, the municipality that owns the rink has declared an emergency and closed all city owned facilities.

Two things came clear in my mind with this weekend's abbreviated schedule. Stevens Point and UMass-Boston are the real deals. I expect one or both to be playing when the stakes get much higher later on.

I saw Point last night for the first time this season and came away impressed....strong group of forwards...came at Lawrence in waves and the Vikings had no defense to speak of...looking foward to Jan. 11 when SNC invades the Willett...should be a great atmosphere with a big crowd and student pep band on hand...
