Unless the original shot didn't get all the way to Gervais, it should have been two shots, one goal; a very fortunate rebound right to the stick of the Huskie player.

UW up 2-1, end of the first period. Shots are 10-to-4 (or maybe 5).

Another bit of bad luck for UW.

Blue line turnover turns into a 3-on-2 for St Cloud, and the cross-crease pass goes off of a skate into the net. A "stopping motion" from the skate and not enough of a "distinct kicking motion" allows the goal.

4-2 UW after two periods.

Never thought I'd see a DIII player go off on a nationally ranked DI team but former Norwich standout Ann-Frederique Guay with the hat trick to lead Maine on a 4-3 comeback over BC
