...but especially at Bowdoin with what happened to one of their programs greatest players a few years back...

Very sad, just fortunate that nobody was injured or killed. Hope she learns from the experience and whatever punishment she's given...Also hope that all athletes both present and former use better judgement and help keep our roads safer for everyone.

I do as well, and wish her the best as she deals with the repercussions of a serious bad decision that could have gone much more wrong. She has a strong support system, and I hope she avails herself of it.

Exactly what type of help did you have in mind?
Repercussions for this type of arrest usually include some court ordered program for assessment of consumption habits and then "help" as that assessment may prescribe or require...to satisfy the courts sentence.
