Any updates on Rutgers moving towards a NCAA D1 program?

Driving through the campus this week, no one can say they "do not have funding".

Unless a Pegula or Englestad type can give $TEXAS, probably not.

Hell, we've been told we're *close* on an Illinois program, and nothing yet.

I have been told the school is ready to go but they are still waiting on the stadium. Maybe it's financing, will tax payers pay for the stadium, in my opinion still moving parts.

Murphy is not funding a public ice arena for Rutgers. He has enough problems with the dinosaur at the Meadowlands.
