Ralph, is this one with UPEI considered an exhibition game? (And if it were Brom, would it be an exhibition gmae?) Seriously, no gimaiies ;) this year, take 'em all seriously, and take 'em.

It is an exhibition game, as are all games vs. non-DI schools now. We used to count them in our record.

Brom, as an Ivy, couldn't play now.

Yes, I think goaltending will be split.

Games against Canadian teams are always interesting. Ottawa was just a blowout, York (the college) ended up with a couple of REALLY GOOD fights. Maybe this one will be just as classic.

I still haven't made up my mind on going out there, but chances are good that I will be here enjoying a Muddy Cherry and listening to the game on WRPI.

I think that he will, but this might be the only time we see Merriam except in mop-up duty barring injury or poor performance. Probably Merriam will play one period like Ramelot did against Bluewater last weekend.

As always hoping we play a good game and come out with a win-but also hoping we dont experience any injuries. Would like to be full strength this year.

I hope you are wrong about Merriam's playing time this year. I would think that they could find three or four games that he could start. Certainly Army and one of the games family weekend should get him some time. Also, if we lose the first game of one of the tournaments, he could use the experience.

I agree that he could start about three or four games including the second night of our tourney. Even if we lose to Michigan, I would expect to see York in the second game unless the loss was bad.

Speaking of goaltenders, will there be a moment of silence for Nathan Marsters tonight? Although it's been a while since his terrible accident, this is really the first chance for the RPI hockey community to honor his memory. I hope they take the opportunity.

The women will be in action this afternoon, immediately following the football game. We will have that one on WRPI as well.
