I was looking forward to this weekend, but family stuff is taking me out of town. RPI always plays Yale tough, I would not be surprised to see some Yale seniors wanting revenge for the Big Red Freakout spanking of two years ago. Yale is kind of a riddle this year, but I think things are starting to click into gear with Allains system. Brown frustrated Yale greatly by clogging the shooting lanes with bodies, as most of the teams that have taken games from them have also done. Yale / Union will be the "for real" test for Yale, if they get out of this weekend with four points, the sky may be the limit. RPI/Brown will be a a war of attrition between two under rated teams that just need some healthy bodies on the ice. Brown should have won the Yale game this past Saturday and if not for some PK lapses would have. Yale had a little experiment with Maricic starting in goal, it lasted 6 minutes and two goals, I would expect to see Malcolm both games. Keep an eye on Yale Frosh O'Gara, Young and Wilson they are maturing quickly.

Brown beat Union twice last year, so that's something interesting about Friday's game. In general, we've had success against them the past few years. Brown-RPI is usually a bloodbath that RPI wins by three or four, and I expect the same this time.
On a side note, do you guys include "clarkson still sucks!" as a tag in all of your game threads?

If we win the special teams game-we may not have to worry about much else. We are a very decent team until we have a differential in numbers of men on the ice.

My brother and I will be in attendance for both games this weekend. The trip to Meehan will officially complete my trip around the league (I know, I saved the best for last...).
Sincerely hoping for two wins this weekend, thought not exactly expecting it. Of the many games I've seen at Yale, not a single one has been an RPI win. Let's change that tomorrow.

Harvard should be #20. Unless it's just me, it's not the only error on this weekend's game notes. What's readable of page 4 still references the top scorers and goaltending of Princeton and Quinnipiac.
