I've never started one of these. So it may be my fault we've struggled in recent years. It's time to get things moving in the right direction and what better place to do so than our rival's new building. Let's go Red!
 
A virgin! I have so many comments I could post, but it is too many years for me to remember and Jenny probably would cut them off and hang them on a pole!!! Go Red!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time for the real season to get underway.

New blood! Good for Vampires on this Halloween night.
 
Just left Baker rink after watching an absolutely thrilling game from our girls. Trailing late they pulled the goalie and got a face off with 1.6 seconds left deep in the offensive zone. Won the face off and threw it back for a shot that beat the goalie with 0.1 seconds left!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tied at 3-3 going to OT. OT was only a minute old when we took a penalty for tripping. Princeton had a 4 on 3 power play and we killed off almost all of it before they scored and we lost in OT 4-3. Yes it was a loss but give this group of girls credit for never giving up and showing no quit. An OT loss on the road is far better than any prediction for this weekend. They travel up to QU for tomorrow and have to play a 9-1 team that is just loaded with talent. Now let us hope our boys can play well tonight and bring us a win!!!!!!!!!!
 
It would be easier to keep track of how many time Union did NOT have an odd man rush than the times they did. I lost count on how many they had. if we do not tighten up on defense and pick up those forwards as they enter the zone we will need a calculator to keep score. There is a lot of rough play going on and special teams will again be called upon to make a difference. We will need to communicate better on the ice. 1-1 after the first is Okay but we are really fortunate it is not worse.

Did they have calculators back when you and Ralph were in school? Or did you use slide rules or abacuses (Abacii?)
