Thanks for starting the thread Doc. I am very superstitious about this thread. I think that if you start a thread and we win, you should start the next one, and continue until we lose. And if you start a losing thread, you should not start the next one.
But that's just me.

LETS GO RED!!!!

I fully understand. In 1985 Jenny and I attended almost all of the 38 games and when we won I refused to change anything I did-ate in the same restaurant, ordered the same meal, wore the same clothes, etc. I believe I wore the same socks to almost 30 consecutive games. Every home game I had veal parm at verdiles and 2 eclairs from Bella Napoli. In Detroit we looked all over the place for the same meal and a bakery to get eclairs. Thankfully,Jenny was more normal-you almost never see her in the same outfit twice. If we win I would be happy to start the next thread. If we lose I won't come near it.:)

I'm just not sure I'm ready to put my 4-0 streak on the line yet. I know 2 of the games (although one a women's game and is still controversial on here) were during the atrocious 2008-09 season.

We lose one more and the ball passes to your court.;)

It never seemed to work when we won and then I started a second thread.

BTW, would hoky say we are on the rise is we lose 4-1 this evening? ;)

Re: RPI @ Ferris State 10/15/11

Women lead Niagara 2-1 after 1. A good period for the Engineers tainted by giving up a breakaway with 45 seconds left in the period for Niagara's goal. O'Brien made the initial stop but the Niagara skater + 2 Engineers appear to have crashed the net and took her out of the play, leaving no chance at stopping the rebound shot.

Re: RPI @ Ferris State 10/15/11

Niagara ties it up in the second and ends the period 2-2. Engineers failed to clear Niagara's players from the crease and as a result they were able to put home a rebound for a dirty goal. RPI also failed to capitalize on nearly a minute of 5-on-3 time stemming from the only two penalties of the period.

Re: RPI @ Ferris State 10/15/11

Women fall to Niagara 3-2 on what is essentially a power play goal (penalty expired 3 seconds prior), getting swept on the weekend. Niagara picks up its first 2 wins of the season against the Engineers, after losing their first four against UNH and BU.

Now the men had better win, so the weekend isn't a complete loss.
