I Still bleed RPI Red
Somebody has to do it and I am on a one game winning streak.

I just hope the boys go out and play this game for the right reason-to have fun. This is a tough place to play and a tough team to play but we are not as bad as our record shows. Then again, neither is Cornell. All i really want to see is the officials not be a big part of this game and certainly not the deciding factors.

What's a winning streak? My 0-3 record is worst amongst all RPI posters.

This is probably a battle of the 4 most disappointing teams in the ECAC this season. Colgate was picked by many to contend for the Cleary Cup with all their returnees from last season, Union was coming off a national title and still had many pieces returning from that team while RPI and Cornell had enough defensive players returning to contend if they could find some scoring. Well, neither team did and are both struggling to see who can somehow host a first round playoff series. A lot of questions could be answered this weekend.

Agree with that complete statement. But there are no more questions to answer as far as our team. This is not the first few weeks of the season yet every press conference after each loss sounds like it is. I think all of us can recite what will be said if we have another difficult road weekend (perhaps just play back the North Country trip videos). We have a great group of boys on this team with considerable talent that are playing like they are just being introduced to each other for the first time. Some games it only show up for a few minutes or a few shifts. Other games it seems to last all game long. Sad to say, looking back, i think this may have been the case most years. Hoping we just play well and have fun so we head into the playoffs in a better frame of mind with at least some confidence. Unlikely i will be listening in tonight and not aware of any broadcast other than the ivy subscription which I would normally sign up for but since i most likely will not get to be here for the entire game will pass.
