May not be here tonight. But might still be watching. First time in a long time we have an in season game that may mean so much. Always a difficult weekend for us and always unpredictable. Need to really bounce back from a tough time out west last week. Hope everyone is healthy and let's put on a good show!! Go Red!!!!!!!!!

This game will tell us a lot about how far we have come in 2020.
Colgate needs this game as much as we do. So we will be pushed to the limit.
I look forward to a very competitive game. And may the best team win.

Speaking of healthy, any updates on Dubinsky? Needless to say, a very important weekend if we are going to stay in the hunt for a Top 6 position.

You're probably correct. The oddsmakers obviously do not think that RPI's 3-0 victory in the first meeting should be the primary indicator of which team should win this time around.
Home ice is the most obvious alternative factor.

Home ice really hasn't been all that kind to the Raiders this season. Their home record of 3-5-4 works out to a winning percentage of .417, which is actually a little worse than their road record of 6-8-2 and winning percentage of .438.

Unusual for this late in the season, but RPI's road record and home record are both exactly the same at 6-7-1.

Edit - I just looked back at the thread for the Jan. 11 game. The odds posted for that one were RPI + 110 and Colgate - 150, the same as those posted for tonight.

I wouldn't mind if tonight's result turns out the same as it was on Jan. 11. ;)

Here it is predicted as a 2-2 game with Colgate the slight favorite at 49% to 38%. Seems like this one is truly pretty even and might just turn on special teams or penalties or some sort of mistake. Have to play smart without bad penalties in the offensive zone.

i am not rooting for the best team to win simply because I am not sure who that is. i do know that I want one team to win tonight whether they are the best or not.

Wish it was for dinner. i am on call tonight as a consultant and lately when this happens i can rarely get through the evening without at least one or two calls. Will try to listen on the go but Jenny will be home watching. This is a pretty big game and we have not been in that position late in the season all that much lately. Would love a win but on the road, a tie may not be that bad for us.
