Can't help but feel Clarkson deserved a better result than that. They controlled the play probably 2/3rd of the game and Kasdorf made at least 4 unbelievable saves to keep RPI ahead, especially in the second period.

Well you can be happy that the Clarkson players realized that also and did what they had to do to get him out of there.

Just back for the ending. Jenny said I missed some holding and hooking and a few other interference like things but that otherwise we better be just happy to get out with a tie. Without Kasdorf and playing on an unfriendly rink (well, at least unfriendly officials) a tie is better than what could have happened. Hopefully after some rest, we can get Kasdorf in tomorrow. i did not see how he got hurt but I heard he got run into and perhaps the CCT player had been checked into him or perhaps not.

Was it really necessary to run the goalie?! Dooshbags...

Doc, if you saw the tying goal, you wouldn't be so happy.

A game they could have won, a game they could have lost. Guess it's only fitting that it ended up a tie.
Good news is that they're still undefeated in the ECACH. Bad news could be the possible loss of Kazzy.

Announcers thought DiNallo ran him and probably deserved a penalty, but he did also get slashed from behind on his way in so it was a little debatable. Referees saw the slash and the apparent injury to DiNallo on the play and only called the RPI penalty. DiNallo came back into the game after a trip to the locker room, Kasdorf went off after one subsequent whistle and did not return.

Slash had nothing to do with it. Clarkson player knew what he was doing. Looked like the Clarkson player's knee was injured when an RPI player fell on him in the middle of that scrum.

I did not see it. But our history has been filled with goalies getting hit and nothing called. This year is only 8 games old for us and we have had a plethora of these kinds of events and calls. i think Clarkson had the better of the play and truly felt that without Kasdorf in there the score would no doubt have been different. But he was in there and we did work this to a 2-1 lead which no one can be sure he would have held but i certainly felt without him, it was made exponentially easier for Clarkson to score.

Doc I rewound it a couple times. It was total bush league. Clarkson player had plenty of time to peel off as Kasdorf had the puck held and got slammed into, and Bourbonnais gets called for something.
We've all seen charging the goaltender called before. The officiating in this league is a disgrace. Could see Appert giving it to the referee after the handshake.

Funny thing is, isn't hits on the goalie a point of emphasis this year? Evidently for only 59 of the teams...
