Good start to the season last night. Lets keep it going.
Nice to see six goals. That didn't happen too often last season.

Yes indeed - six is quite a nice number to start with. Not happy with that last goal given up as we need to keep the defensive posture for a full 60 minutes against everyone. I think we will find this season that 2 is a very key number to limit on the defensive side.

Should never had gone to OT. Girls led 1-0 and took a bad penalty with 3+ minutes to play. Syracuse pulled the goalie and scored to tie. In OT it was back and forth until a great pass left Helgeson free on the right side and she buried it for the winner. Fascinating defensive battle. Freshman goalie for RPI is the real deal and the defense is solid. Offense needs to find some more scoring but these games have all been very close low scoring battles.

Only downer was Hamilton got hurt and hobbled off with help. looked like a knee but they never showed the play that caused the injury so hard to tell but she could not put any weight on it.
