RPI @ Bentley, Friday 11/20/15

Re: RPI @ Bentley, Friday 11/20/15

No, Ralph, I am visiting my son, and we had a really good time at the game.
Dosen't the NCAA have rules about the size of the arena for Div 1 schools.
Also, the ice surface seemed a bit smaller than HFH.
Doc would have loved it, the student section had at least as many female students as male, and it they were all easy on the eyes.
//all in all, a very good night.

The rule book states: "As nearly as possible, the dimensions of the rink shall be 200 feet long and 85 feet wide. The corners should be rounded in the arc of a circle with a radius of 20 feet." So does it have to be? No. Should it be close? Yes. I'm sure their new arena will be.

Ours was smaller also until the early 1980s.

EHF: you are so right! i would have loved it but if I had Jenny with me i would have had to be very careful or else end up sleeping with one eye open and having the cats taste ll my food for awhile. I may be getting older but after the cataract surgeries of 2 years ago, my eyesight is as good as ever.
