RMU dropping 7 sports by the end of the '13-'14 academic year. [ Robert Morris to cut seven sports ] Men's indoor/outdoor track, tennis and x-country. Women's field hockey, golf and tennis. It appears they are looking to add scolarships, upgrade facilities , and fortify travel and recruiting budgets with the $1-1.2 million in savings.

While I am glad that hockey appears to be spared, I am very sorry to hear that others are losing a shot at varsity competition. Too bad.
