RIT at Air Force 11/07/10

Go Cats!! Beat Maine!!!
This probably looked like a potential battle for first place when the schedule makers penciled this one in. Disappointing start for both teams, so I would think both teams will come out looking to get a good start. Should be a good game.

Re: RIT at Air Force 11/07/10

Hard to make that kind of "battle for first". After all, RIT has only played 1 league game so far. It is a pretty key battle for the Western Pod standings that won't be published but everyone knows what they will be.

Re: RIT at Air Force 11/07/10

End of 1. Tale of two periods. RIT came out flying and got two quick ones. AFA got a couple of PP's at the end of the first and started getting some pressure of their own.

RIT 2 - AFA 1

Re: RIT at Air Force 11/07/10

Burnett hits the post for AFA, and on the same play RIT get called for cross checking. AFA to the PP.

RIT 2 - AFA 1

Re: RIT at Air Force 11/07/10

Sorry for the lack of updates, but I'm dealing with a very weak wireless signal. So I'm listening to the game and will post when I can.

Second period is over and the score is still 2-1 RIT. AFA dominated the period, outshooting RIT 15-2, but could not get the equalizer. Should be a good third period.

Re: RIT at Air Force 11/07/10

AFA tie it up on the PP at 13:23 of the third.

RIT score shortly thereafter to retake the lead, 38 seconds after AFA tied it up.

3-2 RIT
